Loaves & Fishes Kitchen Garden Project

With support from a Sustainable Finger Lakes mini-grant, Loaves & Fishes is creating a kitchen garden in the courtyard of St. John’s Episcopal Church to grow fresh herbs and produce for our community meals. Right now, our herbs are growing in buckets, but we hope to transplant them into a cold frame to help them thrive and extend the growing season. However, we have run into a challenge: poison ivy is present on-site and must be safely removed before we can move forward.
